SPRITE SISTERS

SPRITE SISTERS is based on Sheridan Winn's best-selling girls book series "Sprite Sisters", which thrills numerous fans worldwide with their magical adventures around the sisters Flame, Sky, Flora and Marina. Directed by Sven Unterwaldt ("Help, I Shrunk My Teacher"), Hortense Ullrich ("My Devilishly Good Friend") is responsible for the script. Starring Katja Riemann (Glenda), Anna Thalbach (Mrs. Duggery), Justus von Dohnányi (Oswald), Gregor Bloéb (father), Doris Schretzmayer (dam) and the newcomers Laila Padotzke (Flame), Leonore von Berg (Sky) , Lilith Julie Johna (Flora) and Hedda Erlebach (Marina).

The Story

 

 

Sky cannot believe it! When she wakes up on the morning of her ninth birthday and moves her fingers, her stuffed animals begins to fly. Her three bigger sisters, Flame, Flora, and Marina already know that magical abilities unfold on their ninth birthday. As Flame, the eldest of the four shows them a secret room with a strange wind rose in the cellar, something magical happens: as the four touch them together, glittering Elven dust flies through the room. Sky is excited and does not see why she should hide her powers from others. Quickly she clashes with Flame, who desperately wants to keep the secret - not even her parents suspect anything!

Meanwhile, the dark sorceress Glenda makes her way to Cantrip Towers, the home of the sisters. She has felt the reawakened power of the wind rose, with which she associates a dark secret, and now claims her magical powers for herself. With perfidious tricks she tries to drive a wedge between the sisters. Now, the four really have to gather together, after all, not only the big singing competition at their school is imminent. Because if the sisters do not get along again, Cantrip Towers is in great danger!
